Hosting
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Workers, operated by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. The European entity is Cloudflare Germany GmbH, c/o Design Offices München Atlas, Rosenheimer Straße 143C, 81671 München.
Cloudflare processes data on our behalf as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR and also provides the network and security layer that delivers the site.
Server log data
When a page or file is requested, the hosting infrastructure processes technical data that your browser transmits automatically. This typically includes:
- the IP address of the requesting device
- the date and time of the request
- the requested resource
- browser and user-agent information
- security-relevant information used to detect and block abusive traffic
Purposes and legal basis
This data is processed to deliver the website reliably, to maintain its stability, and to protect it against attacks and abuse.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, functional and attack-resistant operation of the website.
No analytics, no tracking, no cookies
This website does not use Google Analytics or any other analytics service, no marketing or advertising trackers, and no cross-site tracking.
It does not set cookies and does not write to local or session storage. Because no non-essential processing is triggered before you interact with the page, there is no cookie banner.
Fonts are served from this website's own server. No request is made to Google Fonts.
Videos: click-to-load
Portfolio videos are hosted on YouTube, a service provided in the EEA by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Video preview images are stored locally on this website. As long as you do not click play, your browser makes no request to YouTube or Google, and neither receives your IP address.
Only when you actively click play is a player loaded from youtube-nocookie.com in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. From that point YouTube receives your IP address and can process further data, including whether you are signed in to a Google account. That happens on the basis of your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, given by clicking play, and you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future by not loading further videos.
Details are in Google's privacy policy.
External links
This website links to external profiles and services: email, Telegram, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. Following such a link takes you to a third party whose own privacy policy applies. We have no influence over their processing.
Recipients
Personal data is not sold or passed on for advertising purposes. Beyond the hosting provider named above, and YouTube where you have actively started a video, no data is transferred to third parties.
International transfers
Processing by the hosting provider may involve transfers to the United States. According to its own documentation, Cloudflare relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where that does not apply, on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
If you start a YouTube video, data may likewise be transferred to Google outside the EEA under the safeguards described in Google's privacy policy.
Retention
Technical log data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law. The precise retention periods are determined by the hosting provider's configuration and documentation; we do not maintain a separate copy of these logs.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to request access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20), and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
To exercise these rights, use the contact address on the Imprint page.
Right to complain
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority competent for us is:
State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg (Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg), Heilbronner Straße 35, 70191 Stuttgart.
Updates to this policy
This policy reflects the current state of the website and was last updated on 25 August 2026. It will be revised if the technical setup changes.
